Engaging in effective business communication with people from other cultures could indeed turn out to be a challenge. I realized that the way people think about, interpret and convey communications is to a great extent determined by their cultural mindset and beliefs. Same words and tones could convey different things to the subjects affiliated to different cultures (Schirato & Yell, 2006, p. 18).
